Assorted Images has long been one of the defining studios in UK and global popular culture, creating visual identities, record sleeves, posters, books, documentaries, marketing campaigns, apps, online platforms and merchandise for artists, broadcasters and cultural organisations that have shaped generations of audiences. The studio’s work helped define the visual language of artists including Duran Duran, Culture Club, Simple Minds, Yes, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Paul McCartney, Nick Cave, Heaven 17, Buzzcocks and The Smiths.

The studio’s influence extends beyond music into associated commercial and lifestyle design, including racing yacht liveries and merchandise with Simon Le Bon and motorsport livery and branding with racing driver Damon Hill.

Assorted Images expanded the role of pop culture design into television, film, exhibitions and digital media, producing screen graphics, titles and campaigns for Channel 4 and HBO, alongside collaborations with filmmakers including Peter Greenaway and Paul W Anderson. The studio has also pioneered creative technology and experiential design with partners including Glastonbury Festival and Vamuso, while extending the language of popular culture into science communication with Professor Brian Cox.
