This issue of Document from Design Manchester picks up on the DM18 Festival themes of Disruption and Transformation by design, with a review of the D(isrupt)M Conference by Creative Lancashire’s Michelle Bondesio and features about The Great Debate about Should All Schools Be Art Schools?, the great workshops with Patrick Thomas and Instruct Studios where people were encouraged to give their disruptive urges free rein, and the Manchester Design Manifesto: a call to action for the design community to help the city deliver on its radical, inclusive and enterprising ambitions.
